We are created for work.

It is so easy to separate “church” from the rest of our lives, but God created us to live and work with him and for him in every aspect of life. One of the greatest ways we can incorporate our faith into the rest of our lives and become fully devoted followers of Jesus, is through working and serving with his kingdom in mind. What gifts has God given you? What spaces has he placed you in? How can you uniquely represent and expand God’s kingdom?

PRACTICE: Explore your God-given gifts, strengths, and personality, and apply them to your work, service, and calling for the mission of God in the world.

  • Discover your gifts and use them to fully engage in your serving role in the church. If you’re looking for a place to serve, check out the opportunities here.
  • Before you begin work each day pray a simple prayer: “Thank you, God, for the work ahead of me today. Help me to contribute to your mission in the world.”
